st-louis-queer-therapist

Hello! My name is Sophie (she/they). I am white, queer, genderqueer, neurodivergent, and living with chronic illness. I am an artist, activist, adventurer, trauma survivor, and nature-enthusiast—all parts of my identity that inform the ways I show up as a therapist.

I received my Master’s of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021. My background includes work in the field of wilderness and adventure therapy, sexuality education, LGBTQIA+ peer support, oncology grief counseling, and residential psychiatric treatment.

I currently live and work on stolen Kiikaapoi, Miami, Sioux, & Osage land, colonized as St. Louis, Missouri and I provide therapy via telehealth.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I spend much of my time creating at the pottery studio, reading, powerlifting, hiking, and cuddling with my three perfect cats.
